Service dogs change the world for children and adults in need; they are vital companions that open up access to the world. From the breeding process to graduation, it costs Canine Assistants $35,000.00 to raise one service dog. We never charge recipients for our dogs, so we rely on the generosity of others to help support these costs. A puppy sponsorship can be gifted all at once, monthly, or quarterly.
Puppy sponsors receive individualized communication and partnership with Canine Assistants, including:
-Introduction letter and photos “from” the puppy
-Regular updates from the nursery
-Quarterly updates on the puppy from the time they move out of the nursery to graduation
-Optional corporate or organizational logo on the puppy’s teaching/working vest
-Formal graduation announcement for the the puppy
-An opportunity for virtual or on-site meet and greet with the puppy prior to graduation
