Join the Every Dog’s A Hero Virtual 5k Run, Walk and Roll! We are celebrating National Service Dog Awareness Month this entire September by fundraising for Canine Assistants, a service dog school that educates the dogs who are changing the world for those with disabilities all over the country!
As the uncertainties continue to mount surrounding COVID-19, Canine Assistants is committed to keeping our future service dogs, volunteers and staff safe all while continuing to carry out our very important mission. Like many other organizations, we are quickly seeing the negative impact of the virus and how it is affecting our fundraising efforts.
We hope you will register, create/join a team and raise much needed funds for Canine Assistants.
How It Works
- Once you register, you can create a fundraising team or simply participate on your own!
- You will receive a link to your own personal fundraising page that can be shared on all social media platforms.
- Anytime between September 1 – September 30th, complete 3.1 miles – walk, run, roll outside or even inside on the treadmill!
- Where? Anywhere! This is a virtual event to celebrate National Service Dog Awareness Month wherever you may live.
- Be sure to adhere to social distancing guidelines, but we also know that taking in a little bit of sunshine can help all of us during this difficult time!
- As you participate during the month of September, share your adventure! Post on any of your social media accounts and use the hashtag #EveryDogsAHeroVirtual5k and be sure you tag Canine Assistants so we can see and share your posts!
- We will mail your t-shirt out to you during the month of September.
